@karenzz and I looked at it and I wrote some code to extract the minimum purchase element from the page if present, and a regex to extract the minimum quantity and total price from that element.

Sloetjes's M2 mac throws DeadlineExceeded when calling pubsub_v1.SubscriberClient.pull()

Seems to be fixed by 528d134c65 by following the advice in the upstream issue and wrapping the call in an exception handler.
